Who are they?

Well, I think these young ones could be my dad and his siblings as well as a few more relatives. If anyone knows who they are please let me know.

Name that baby?

This photo is a great treasure that I unearthed as I was digging through more photos of my family. It is a 18X14 of my grandfather Bert and His wife Marcella with I believe their first child Burton Charles (Chas) Brinsfield. If I am wrong please let me know.

I have some other rare gem from the family photos that I am hoping that someone can help me uncover the details to. This is real interesting as it appears to be a parade in an english speaking country will the participants appear to be oriental. I wonder if aunt Meko would know where this might be?

Here is one of our beautiful relatives that I am hoping to uncover who she is. Please comment if you know who this may be.

The next two photos I believe are Goldie Mae Brinsfield as they appear to have been taken at the same time as the family portrait of Grandpa Bert and his siblings.

What a rare gem to unearth as I go through the box of photos from my dad. I trust you will find it as enjoyable as I do. Written in cursive on the reverse side of the mounted photo is the following information in quotations.The photo mount appears to be a heavy black faced cardstock that is used in photo mounting at this time in history.: “Mrs. A.N. Crye 237-N-O st Tulare Calif. Tom Lola Virgle Homer Bert Goldie” It is my hypothesis that this photo was either reprinted or mounted by Goldie Mae Brinsfield after she was married and living in California. I believe the A.N. refers to Goldie’s husband Albert Nelson Crye. I have deduced that the names of the children by their sex and appearance in age. Please correct me if I am wrong. If I am correct I would say we have from back to front left to right Tom, Lola, Virgle, Homer, Goldie (baby) and Bert.

I'm so excited...

I have been dabbling in genealogy for the past few years. As some of you may know my Moth-In-Law has done extensive research on her family as well as her husbands. So upon their last visit to us this year she presented a treasure trove of research on my family. There were some interesting pieces of information about some of my relatives that I will be sharing in the future.

I have compiled my information along with what she has given to me, and "Boy oh boy, what excitement", the stories, family sizes, some secrets and much much more. As I intend to share all of this I am also hoping for input from you the readers. I am looking for feedback on my discoveries. If you see misinformation or you just have something to add, identifying people in photos, as I want to document photos correctly. So let's get started and have some fun. When it comes to photos I would like to have names, date, location, and event if possible.

So I would love to hear from you, and please share your stories, photos, documents, and anything else you can think of.
